BIO : Brian Ferguson

Brian Ferguson was greatly influenced by the animations of Warner Bros. and Walt Disney at a very young age. It was from this fascination that lead him to take private art lessons in the USA. Brian went on to graduate with a degree in Fine Arts from The Alberta College of Art, specializing in painting, drawing and printmaking. While in college he trained and worked alongside Richard Swell(Master Printer) and Margaret May, which earned him a scholarship to travel to Ottawa to meet Alex Coville who greatly inspired him to strive to learn and grow as an artist.

Brian has been afforded many memorable opportunities to meet and learn from several acclaimed artists such as Stephen Shortridge and Pino Dangelico (one of the most sought after artist in recent history). These opportunities have inspired him to put his talent to work when creating ProLine Silkscreen. Although there have been many artists that have influenced his work over the years, there has been no greater influence than his family. The ever-changing dynamics of family life allow him to see things differently than most. Brian strives to put all his artistic passion into all his artwork.
